Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey advises that unsettled playmaker Philippe Coutinho follow the Luis Suarez model if he wants to exit Anfield.

The Brazil international wanted to force a move away from Anfield this summer as his dream club Barcelona were seeking to reinforce.

Andres Iniesta was yet to agree a new deal and he was aging fast. Neymar’s transfer meant the team needed to return to team football with a new manager in place. Coutinho is a gifted footballer in the middle and plays dominant attacking football that would fit Barca very well. He has also dreamt of playing at theNou Camp so it was a very convenient move. Had it happened earlier and he able to convince Coach Jurgen Klopp to sanction his transfer, it could have worked out very well.

Suarez on Liverpool

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez believes that Liverpool is a team that should always be playing in the Champions League.

The Barcelona striker said that Liverpool is a massive club and has a great fan base and that it is necessary for a team of this stature to be participating in the Champions League.

Luis Suarez believes that they have a great manager in Jurgen Klopp and that he has made a great job in getting Liverpool back in the Champions League. The former striker said that it is never easy for a manager to take charge of a new club and that it is normal that he needed some time in order to find his best team.

He said that he has had an excellent season for this first year in charge and that there is no doubt that the team will become better.

Luis Suarez said that Klopp has reached his objectives of getting Liverpool back in the Champions League and that now he will be hoping of challenging for the Premier League title. Read more »


Barcelona were shocked by their 2-1 loss to Deportivo during their trip to Estadio Riazor.

Luis Suarez had set-up the La Liga defending champions for a victory when he netted first but goals from Joselu and Alex Bergantinos ensured Barca got their third loss of the season.

The result ends the seven-game winning run of Barcelona in the league. It is surprising, considering that the team just produced the greatest comeback ever in the continent in the return leg against PSG.

Manchester United are seen as the favourites to sign Luis Suarez if the former Liverpool player were to return to England, according to the bookies.

The Barcelona star is comfortable in Spain after moving there for £75 million in 2014 from Liverpool. However, the bookies in a shocking revelation claim he would join the struggling United side ahead of other options if he were to consider a return to the English Premier League.

Chile international Alexis Sanchez is set to lose his position as striker in the Arsenal squad, with reports that the Gunners have finally landed a forward from Deportivo La Caruna.

Lucas Perez has been on the club’s radar for long, but with the transfer deadline closing in a few days, Arsenal signed him to join Olivier Giroud in leading the attack.

Sanchez has been playing the position, since the poor run of form of Frenchman Giroud, with coach Arsene Wenger claiming the former Barcelona star player has all the requires qualities to play upfront. Wenger compared him to La Liga golden boot holder and former Reds Striker Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez To Hit The Knockout Stage Soon

Uruguay has been a performing team so far, especially with some of the talented players like Luis Suarez.

Although he recently had an injury, but it is not as bad as it may seem as the player is more likely to be back in no time. He would be back soon after recovery to hit the knockout stage. Besides, Uruguay has many other talents as well to reach to the top.
