Luis Enrique told Liverpool ECHO on behalf of 888sport that he would pick Luis Suarez ahead of Mohamed Salah as he’s a better fit for Liverpool. According to him, Luis Suarez was the best player he has seen. Luis Enrique watched Suarez in close quarters during their time together at Anfield.

Suarez was phenomenal for Liverpool during the 2013/14 season as they came  close to winning the Premier League title before they were piped to it in the last three games. Manchester City edged ahead of Liverpool in the last few games to win the Premier League title in the summer of 2014.

Uruguayan international Suarez scored 31 goals in the Premier League during the aforementioned season despite missing the first five games of the season. As a matter of fact, Liverpool had the top two goalscorers in the division during that season. Luis Suarez was the Golden Boot winner with 31 goals, while Daniel Sturridge was second with 21 goals.

The 2013/14 season was the last one for Luis Suarez at Liverpool before he signed Catalan giants Barcelona in the summer of 2014. Barcelona paid around £75m for the transfer of Luis Suarez from Merseyside giants Liverpool and he won the Champions League title in his debut season at the club.

On his part, Egyptian international Salah is having his best season at Liverpool at the moment as he has already scored 21 goals in all competitions including 14 goals in the Premier League. He’s the leading goalscorer in the Premier League by a long way.
